Foundation in the past, building castles in the future: both these are mere images while the present alone is true. Coming to the present is what requires strength of mind, fortitude, sense of balance. This story makes one understand that. Powerfully presented blog!

A very good story with a moral that we should not blame unnecessarily someone for a mistake. Before blaming  others we must find out whether one can be excused.Only a person with a very high degree of compassion and love can forget and forgive. The child's father showed his noble character at the critical juncture.
"A man should never be ashamed to own he has been in the wrong, which is but saying, in other words, that he is wiser today than he was yesterday. "

Blame Game -- a new perspective !!

  pallavic posted 1 year ago

Hello Mr Annaswamy,
A wonderful story .Now a days , all of us are so busy that time is at a premium .We really do not have the time to  stop and smell the roses. All we want to do is pass on the blame and move on.That seems to give us so much satisfaction rather than just dealing with it .
To analyse why it happened and can be prevented next time woud be a better discussion than the blame game.
It brings through a powerful message for all of us.
