Very good one.
Even the shape of 3 is marvellous and symentrical.
In the roman counting also, III is the limiting factor ( I,II,III .. VI VII VIII ..XI XII XIII and IIII, VIIII, XIIII are not there).
Number 3 is guiding factor for 8 (3 and merging with mirror reflected 3).
3 is final point for start of any action. (1,2,3)
Om symbol starts with 3.
Tri-angle is first complete shape used for mathematical calculation.
Other Side
Interestingly, Number 3 is not preferred by most Indians. In Hind belt areas, there is a proverb ' theen singada, kaam bigaada'. In Tamil Nadu too, 'muchandi' (conjunction of 3 roads) is not preferred.

It is said that Muslims do not prefer telling anying three times and if it is done, that is the end for that (talaaq....)
